Kargil District(Ladakh) – Snapshot from my Travels # Part 5

Here’s some more snapshots from my recent travels, images captured after crossing Zoji La(Kashmir) at the starting point of the District Kargil(Ladakh) from Zoli La side, few miles ahead is a place called Drass which is said to be the coldest inhabited place in India. In Drass, winters are cold with average lows around −22 °C (−10 °F), and as low as −45 °C at the height of winter, which lasts from mid-October to mid-May.
