Who Am I

Hello Folks!

I’m Vikas Sharma and I have created this blog to share my thoughts and interests with the people all around the world.

Well, here’s something about me!

Born in the hilly state known as Himachal Pradesh(India) and then brought up in different places of India. I’m a techno freak, love science things and have completed bachelor degree in technology, and at present working in a corporate company. I’m into traveling and never get tired of it instead I crave for it more; I wish to travel more and more like a traveler. I love to be in the nature, observing it and admiring its beauty. I listen to music ranging from classical to metal, I listen to broader range of music haha! I like hiking, trekking and camping too; I’m a rocker haha! I’ve few amazing experiences of trekking in the Himalayas and in some other ranges too. Sometimes, I like to write whatever there is on my mind and I think it’s amazing how a single word can paint a myriad of pictures in our minds; my mind is in a habit of thinking critically. I believe imagination is one of the things which nourish creativity and innovation, and moreover I believe in the power of thoughts, ideas, imagination and art.

Here’s my philosophy on life:

On every step of our life, our attitude matters a lot. It can make a dream true, a home, a company, it can either make things better around us or it can make things worse. Sometimes, the only thing which matter is right attitude. We all have our own perception about things and accordingly people will act in a certain way. Sometimes unexpected things happen despite all are efforts. At that moment, the only thing we can do is play on the one trump we have and that is our attitude. With the right attitude life becomes much more bearable and happier, with the right attitude we realize our true power and potential, with the right attitude we realize how far we can reach and how high we can climb, and with the right attitude we realize it’s just us who is in charge of our life.

At last, thanks for dropping by and checking the blog.

I share your view on attitudes.. it’s really all about how we perceive world ourselves and others. Is the glass half full or empty.. it can change the world for

  15. same career.same passion. 🙂
looking forward for more of your post.

  16. Vikas, I admire your passion for attitude, and your vibrant outlook on life. I believe we can learn from one another. I look forward to the future of what we can glean from one another.

    be blessed my friend

  17. Very well said and excellent view on life. We have much in common. I look forward to your postings.

  18. Expand the Horizon 🙂 I like that.

  19. Thanks for visiting my blog Vikas.

I agree with you about the importance of one’s attitude. My question is: How would you change an attitude? Not an easy task! Direct methods usually don’t work. Our attitudes reflect our subconscious programming, especially during childhood.

Nevertheless, there are few good approaches to unleash the power of the subconscious mind, not only to improve an attitude, but to experience new and better dimensions of this short journey called “life”.

All the best in your writing and in your hi-tech career…

    The Soaring Eagle

  20. I absolutely agree – our attitudes shape our destinies completely 🙂

  21. Thank you Vikas for following my blog. We share same interests and I also work as a software engineer (p.s. only for bread and butter :P). My heart lies in exploring the world around me.
