Peace and Love

Expand The Horizon

We are merely temporary residents on the planet Earth. We are all just visitors to this place, to this time, to this planet. We are just experiencing this whole universe and the world individually as well as collectively. We are experiencing our surroundings and all other things through our senses, through our mind, and through any other mean like something which could be a human creation too. We are nothing more than a speck of dust in the universe, even the planet on which we live and thrive is nothing more than a speck of dust in the universe. We are all just a result of billions of billion years of evolution. Our evolution and as well as our capability to create things which we want, desire and need is the reason why our world keeps on changing with time, the time which indeed is a concept. We are all…

It’s Beautiful to Enjoy Solitude

Expand The Horizon

It’s better to be in solitude for a while at times than having meaningless conversations over and over with someone whom you don’t want to spend your time with. Here I’m not talking about avoiding conversation with anyone; I’m just talking about having exhausting and meaningless conversations, and about solitude.

I find it better to figure out myself, do the things I want to do, lost in my thoughts, traveling, strolling around the places alone than being with someone who is faking, irritating or with whom I find it difficult to share time over unnecessary conversations. It’s meaningless and exhausting to spend time with people you really don’t want to spend your time with, and whereas sometimes it’s beautiful and enlightening to even enjoy solitude, and of course it is easy to enjoy solitude only when it isn’t forced.

There is a different pleasure, tranquility and power in being able to…

Under The Benighted Sky

Expand The Horizon

Under the benighted sky, I used to feel my thoughts blending making roar,

All thoughts within my mind had waged mutual consistent war

Mystify to identify what was delusion and what was real,

Causes of delusions were unclear

Steadily time kept on changing with seasons unending,

My world was spinning empty days and nothing were there to be claimed

Then I dived into an ocean of hopefulness between perplex waves to find out my aim,

Here I stand up holding an hourglass of eternity that trickles sand endlessly,

Becoming more self-conscious, letting myself to be with more stable emotions,

Chasing dreams, my ambitions go far beyond the horizons,

Now a vision dropped in, standing on the sands of time but destination still to be claimed,

As the sun vanishes and the moon gear up to take on the skies,

With a gaze to the calm eternal sky with twinkling stars…

Random Thought

Expand The Horizon

When things are not appearing the way you wanted them to be, then it’s always better to analyze the things around you and introspect rather than dwelling in the period of disappointments and not moving ahead. Always take everything as a lesson because everything that happens in life is a valuable experience which could help you in the future and could make you a better version of yourself. It may not be what you want but it might just be what you need, it might just be what makes you stronger and better. The only thing that makes the difference is whether you get destroyed or you learn and grow.

Take responsibility, be with open mind, be open to embrace change for betterment, believe in yourself, don’t get disappoint easily, have patience, listen to everyone but be a leader of your own, expand your horizons and blame less; you might…

Belief

Expand The Horizon

A belief is having trust, faith and confidence in something or someone. It is one of the internal feelings which contribute in shaping our way of thinking and our perception too. When our belief changes, it changes our thinking and perception too. A belief is like a slide at a water park. If you fight it, you are just going to hurt yourself. You have to realize yourself that which slide to choose, which slide to ride, which slide to face, and which slide would be better. You are the one who chooses the slide and your mind is what helps you by giving you the options of what slide you want to ride on. Fighting a belief could be frustrating and would not lead to nowhere; so if you find yourself in such a situation of fighting against your belief then it’s always better to give up that belief…

Food for Thought #8

Expand The Horizon

When we are so hooked up in our beliefs, our ways of thinking, and our habits, we can’t seem to see or do anything outside of our comfort zone. When our views and habits are so rigid, inflexible, and hard to break, it seems like changing of anything is impossible or impractical, and having a better society or anything other would seem impractical too.

But here the question is – how to see beyond this line of impracticality?

Letting ourselves to figure out delusion and reality would be good but then we are so deeply conditioned by our environment, which consists of culture, education, belief systems and societal constructs ranging from gender ideas to assumptions on human nature. Our entire economic doctrines are built under the assumption that humans are inherently selfish or greedy. So how are we to make sense of what is real, what is practical, what is…

Force in Equilibrium

Expand The Horizon

The more I look at the deceptive side of this world,

The more whirling chaos rise up inside my mind led by unrest,

Listening several incoherent gloomy whispering voices all at once,

It crumbles my peace of mind with all its full thrust,

All these voices wrap around my mind and seep deep into my soul,

Standing on the edge of serenity in the corridor full of echoes I feel lost,

Segregating from the deeply deceived lost world and all its colors,

I try to escape my soul from the fractured thoughts and all its horrors,

Everything falls normal as when I look at the unexaggerated side,

And unhitch myself from being a part of the delusion or facade,

I find it better to be in solitude and now a lone walk brings up more tranquility,

From here now it doesn’t even matter whether the path is clear or misty,

Mental Journey

Expand The Horizon

We all go through a continuous mental journey in our whole lifetime, and as a result of this, we are all at different levels of consciousness, awareness and development at different times. Sometimes, we come across people who may not be able to comprehend what we are saying as they might be at different levels than ours or this can be other way around but that doesn’t mean what we have said can never be heard by those at different levels. You know, sometimes someone just need a little push or a hint, and who knows that can be you. You may think and perceive things in an entirely different way than the way I think and perceive things, and at this moment when you’re reading this you might or might not agree with the words I’m writing here. I would say that is all okay, we all go through…

Let there be Love

What it means to forgive, how to handle it to turn things and ourselves better? Don’t you think that it’s of great importance in our lives to understand this every basic thing? Don’t you think it has very great impact on our lives and surroundings too?

Here, I’m just sharing my perception on the subject:

Let’s part it into two categories, that is, Internal and External Forgiveness, and hence, I would say there is an obvious difference between both, internal and external forgiveness. You may forgive a person internally so the pain or the consequences of someone’s wrong doing does not affect you and your energy. However, that does not mean you should necessarily forgive someone externally, it is not mandatory to forgive someone externally. Forgiveness, if that really exists, is for those only who deserve it. So I think there is always need to scrutinize that, are they really worthy of you imparting your forgiveness? Because, chances are if you freely forgive them without any consequence then sometimes it could mean you are only encouraging their actions. Your pain is real, it is not to be messed with, and yes, of course, nobody is perfect but being understanding is what is important at times, and always. Let’s be respectful to each other, decisions are not supposed to be taken in fury of emotions. Nobody feels good when they are stepped on like a doormat, nobody feels good when they are judged by someone who lacks understanding, by someone who is egoistical, narcissist and ignorant. You are a living, breathing and loving creature, that just happens to have a body. If you feel that someone has proved themselves, if they proved themselves worthy of your external forgiveness, well then that’s good, let them into your life. Use your best judgement and be kind, it takes hell lot of investment of time to build up trust and relations, and to knock it down no efforts required.

The Thinker and his Thought

Excerpt from J Krishnamurti’s talks:

Question: What is the relation between the thinker and his thought?

Krishnamurti: Now, is there any such relation, or is there only one thing, which is thought, and not the thinker? Because, if there are no thoughts, there is no thinker. When you are thinking, when you have thoughts, is there a thinker? If you have no thoughts at all, where is the thinker? Now, having thoughts, seeing the impermanence of thoughts, the thinker comes into being. That is, thought creates the thinker; and because thoughts are transient, the thinker becomes the permanent entity. There is first the process of thought, and then thought creates the thinker, obviously. The thinker then establishes himself as a permanent entity, apart from thoughts. That is, thoughts are transient, they are always in a state of flux, and thought objects to its own impermanence; therefore, thought creates the thinker. It is not the other way round, the thinker does not create thought, If you have no thoughts, there is no thinker; so it is thought that creates the thinker. Then we try to establish a relationship between the thinker, and the thought which has created him. That is, we try to establish a relationship between that which seeks to be permanent, which is the thinker created by thought, and the thought itself, which is transient. But obviously both are transient, Since thought, which is transient, creates the thinker, and though the thinker may imagine himself to be permanent, he also is transient; because the thinker is the outcome of thought.
