Are you planning a trip and looking for good Cameras, Tripods, Camps or travel accessories?
Don’t want to spend much bucks to own the product because you’re not sure when will you use it next time?
Or is there any other reason which doesn’t allow you to buy a product?
Don’t want to use a same product for long and so you don’t consider buying product a good option?

THE DOOR IS ALWAYS OPEN

Broader than space, and deeper and clearer than the ocean, the round sun in our hearts rises high to shed its light on the universe. The noble world spreads out before us: a castle of glittering gold appears, and the earth is covered with white jade. Mystically beautiful flowers bloom, and the precious birds and beasts dance in joy.

All worlds are adorned with peace and freedom. There is no suffering, and these worlds are filled with happiness. Paradise and heaven lose their sparkle, and the Buddha is left speechless by such a sight.

Both including and transcending time and space, everyone is eternal and everything is infinite and equal. Yet it is difficult to describe this mysterious world: steep cliffs flee as a red column of fire shoots up from blue waves, and the wooden roadside totems sing joyfully. What a marvelous sight! Such terms as “saints” and “devils” are insignificant in this world: Confucius and Tao-ch’il clasp hands as they bless the age of peace and prosperity.

These are not wild fantasies, but the true reality of the oneness of everything. To those of you who close your eyes only to bemoan the fact that it’s dark, please listen:

The door to the Great Light is always open. In this world overflowing with peace, there are no dualities, there are no conflicts. So let’s raise our eyes, look at this world, and praise it all together!

Long Drives – In the Hills and Snow

Last week, 2 of my friends and I planned a 3 days trip to Kasauli, Chail and Kufri. We started with Kasauli and then went to Kufri and then to Chail and then back to Chandigarh. I’m into traveling and I never get tired of it. I keep on traveling, it could be due to my work reasons or it could be my own planned trips. Here I’m sharing few glimpses with you all from my recent trip to the hills of Himachal.

kasauli-hills-himachal-1

This place is called Kasauli, a small and beautiful hill station, around 60 Km from Chandigarh. We stayed there for a night before heading ahead. The view is clicked from the Hotel’s balcony where I stayed.

kufri-himachal-snowfall-3

From Kasauli, we headed to Kufri, there was snow all over the way, and it is always risky to drive under such circumstances. So I decided to park my car at a safe place, and then we all walked few Km up to Kufri to enjoy this scenic place and nature’s paradise.

So after walking few KMs, we reached Kufri, and the view in Kufri was amazing with snow all over  the place. It had fresh snowfall just an hour back when we reached there.

Here, it’s me with a friend 🙂

This is Chail, a peaceful, less explored and beautiful hill station, I loved this scenic view all over the way while I was driving there.

We stayed in Chail for a night and then started driving back to Home in the morning. It is always good to spend some quality time in the serenity of nature.

It’s Beautiful to Enjoy Solitude

Expand The Horizon

It’s better to be in solitude for a while at times than having meaningless conversations over and over with someone whom you don’t want to spend your time with. Here I’m not talking about avoiding conversation with anyone; I’m just talking about having exhausting and meaningless conversations, and about solitude.

I find it better to figure out myself, do the things I want to do, lost in my thoughts, traveling, strolling around the places alone than being with someone who is faking, irritating or with whom I find it difficult to share time over unnecessary conversations. It’s meaningless and exhausting to spend time with people you really don’t want to spend your time with, and whereas sometimes it’s beautiful and enlightening to even enjoy solitude, and of course it is easy to enjoy solitude only when it isn’t forced.

There is a different pleasure, tranquility and power in being able to…

Random Thought

The most beautiful souls are those who has been hurt but refuse to be broken, the souls who has been cracked but refuse to stay broken and instead put themselves together to stand up more stronger, the souls who has been wrongly judged but never let others any wrong opinion about them to affect themselves.

Leh (Ladakh) – Snapshot from my Travels # Part 6

Leh (Ladakh) is one of the most spectacular places one can visit, the place with its wonderful scenic beauty and beautiful monasteries, at an altitude of 3524 metres. If you are adventure lover and love to travel in the hills then it cannot get better anywhere other than this place on earth. It’s a cold desert, you will see less of green, but this is atoned by the beautiful valleys, mountains, different landscape and the hue, color of the place changes with the weather and time of the day; from Kashmir to Leh you get to see all different colors of nature and it’s just beyond expressing in words.

Here’s some more snapshots from my recent travels, images captured in Leh (Ladakh):

Zoji La and Entrance to Ladakh – Snapshot from my Travels #Part 3

24 Kms(around 15 miles) from Sonamarg and you would be on the world’s most treacherous mountain pass ‘Zoji La’ which is located on the Srinagar-Leh Indian National Highway 1D in the western section of the Himalayas mountain range. The Zoji La connects Kashmir with the district of Ladakh of Indian State – Jammu & Kashmir, the place is such a unique combination of nature’s beauty and its destructive strength, the place has breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountains and one has to experience it to know how it feels to be there, and for me it is such an awesome experience to be there. The snow all over the huge mountains, the frozen river, the carved out snow to make roads, everything about this place is just beautiful and beyond words. The taxi in which I was traveling was going in between ice walls on two sides of a narrow road. For me, it indeed has been one of the most amazing trips till date.

Sharing some snapshots from my travels to this amazingly beautiful place:

Sonamarg (Kashmir) – Snapshot from my Travels #Part 2

Sonamarg which means ‘meadow of gold’ is a hill station situated at an altitude of 2800m in Ganderbal district in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir, and from here Zoji La Pass is around 24 Km ahead which is one of the highest passes for road transport. It’s a beautiful place where you find yourself amidst snow clad mountains, enchanting natural beauty, greenery and glaciers, the beauty is just ethereal. The moment I reached Sonamarg, I was swept away by the view, though I had no time to stroll around the place but still tried to capture few snapshots of this beautiful place.

For all those adventure loving people who wish to enjoy camping at a hill station, it’s one of the ideal destinations. Situated at a distance of 80 KM from Srinagar, on the Srinagar-Ladakh road, the drive to this place is through the Sindh Valley which presents spectacular facet of countryside in Kashmir.
