Expand The Horizon

A belief is having trust, faith and confidence in something or someone. It is one of the internal feelings which contribute in shaping our way of thinking and our perception too. When our belief changes, it changes our thinking and perception too. A belief is like a slide at a water park. If you fight it, you are just going to hurt yourself. You have to realize yourself that which slide to choose, which slide to ride, which slide to face, and which slide would be better. You are the one who chooses the slide and your mind is what helps you by giving you the options of what slide you want to ride on. Fighting a belief could be frustrating and would not lead to nowhere; so if you find yourself in such a situation of fighting against your belief then it’s always better to give up that belief…

Expand The Horizon

When we are so hooked up in our beliefs, our ways of thinking, and our habits, we can’t seem to see or do anything outside of our comfort zone. When our views and habits are so rigid, inflexible, and hard to break, it seems like changing of anything is impossible or impractical, and having a better society or anything other would seem impractical too.

But here the question is – how to see beyond this line of impracticality?

Letting ourselves to figure out delusion and reality would be good but then we are so deeply conditioned by our environment, which consists of culture, education, belief systems and societal constructs ranging from gender ideas to assumptions on human nature. Our entire economic doctrines are built under the assumption that humans are inherently selfish or greedy. So how are we to make sense of what is real, what is practical, what is…

Trapped Within Our Own Minds

Trapped within our own minds with delusions, we cannot read others, but in desperation for the answers we lead beliefs that we do, and hence, we surround ourselves with more illusions. First step to be followed is to free our minds from the chamber of delusions and strive to know our own selves more but the question is how when most of us are so conditioned and remain confined by society, belief, culture, media, situation, education which has in some way obstructed our thinking with preconceptions, fears and anxieties?

So how are we to make sense of what is real, what is practical, what is possible when our entire environment is built on layers of beliefs?

First step would be to let our thoughts to be flexible and mind open to understand freely,  there is a reality beyond the construct of the mind and as long as we live within the confines of the ego mind we cannot conceive of a reality that is beyond what we assume is practical or impractical living, we take our sorrow and confusion to be necessary and inevitable. We don’t think beyond it, we don’t look to end it.

Our practical world today is a horror show. Not generalizing but our education hinders learning, our doctors destroy health, our media sells us lies, our food is poisoned, our resources are running scarce, there is so much poverty and destruction and we live in such a way where an elite few are prosperous while the majority beat each other over nonsensical ideals and labels.

Food for thought:

Any man who points out this madness would seem radical – change yourself and the world will change on its own.

Random Thought

If we all knew about the politics and how the system is actually failing or has failed there’d be a revolution before sunrise. The reason the struggle is real is because the revolution is not and the reason the revolution is not is because we are happier liking pretentious nice things that require no thinking or responsibility.

Responsibility, Fault, Learn

I just don’t get people’s negativity, to the point that they blame all the external factors whether it be other people or be the world around them. Things they have no control of yet let these things control their mood, thinking and reality. How is that going to help, will it?

No one is responsible for our own misery as much as we ourselves and moreover most of the time solution lies in ourselves, in our perception and in our ability to take responsibility regardless of whether or not we are at fault. Have courage, take responsibility, accept your fault if any, strive for best if you really want to and keep learning; blaming and finding others fault won’t be of any use to resolve our own personal things.

Blaming other is easy but accepting our own fault is not. Understand yourself first to be at peace with yourself, it will make you better equipped to face the world. That’s what I think to which some might agree and some might not probably due to their own reasons and experiences.

Belief

A belief is having trust, faith and confidence in something or someone. It is one of the internal feelings which contribute in shaping our way of thinking and our perception too. When our belief changes, it changes our thinking and perception too. A belief is like a slide at a water park. If you fight it, you are just going to hurt yourself. You have to realize yourself that which slide to choose, which slide to ride, which slide to face, and which slide would be better. You are the one who chooses the slide and your mind is what helps you by giving you the options of what slide you want to ride on. Fighting a belief could be frustrating and would not lead to nowhere; so if you find yourself in such a situation of fighting against your belief then it’s always better to give up that belief with a change, be free from it; give up a belief which no longer serves you and makes sense to you.

Whereas fear is a lack of belief or faith in something or someone but actually there no such thing as lack of belief, it itself is a belief in believing lack of belief, there is only abundance when we look it in regard of beliefs. The reason why fear feels bad is because when you are in fear, your belief is not in alignment with your higher self. We all are naturally abundant in beliefs, you will experience a lack of belief only till the point you realize how you are all surrounded by beliefs. Sometimes, all we have to do is just investigate our beliefs and logically work out how our beliefs are serving us, and if they are not then create a new conscious belief that feels good to think about and makes much more sense.

In the end, I would say, it’s better to give up a belief which feels obsolete to us than fighting it, and by giving up a belief I mean to say change your belief. Yes! Change your belief instead fighting against it and that would be the way to go, we cannot be lack of belief as there is no such thing as lack of belief. Beliefs are infinite, if not one then there is other to fit in, choosing the better is essential to expand our horizons.

Another Brick in The Wall

It’s quite cold here at my place in Chandigarh, weather has been foggy and cloudy since last week so haven’t felt the warmth of the sun since then and today right now when I’m writing this post I’m traveling in the hills of Himachal somewhere, for some official reasons. I am very well aware of the fact that this kind of weather can create problems to some people, and also some people don’t like this kind of weather for some reasons. But for me, I really enjoy winters in many ways.
It’s again the same thought which struck in my mind again as I Look through the window of my bus that how we create our own reality. I mean, reality is individualistic, we create our own reality. The way I perceive the world doesn’t necessarily other would perceive the same or the way you perceive doesn’t necessarily I would perceive the same way. Our experiences, knowledge and wisdom shapes our thinking, and our collective thinking is what determines the way we look at the world. If a tree falls in a jungle, and I’m not there to notice or experience it that doesn’t mean this event doesn’t happened. Moreover, it’s easy to be an another brick in the wall and I’m trying to be not.

Illusion Deception Enlighten

Believing blindly in something that is not true can degrade our consciousness which can drives us to a point where all the differences between illusion and possible reality fades away. Deception has been used by some to get what they want, it blinds consciousness and make the psyche paralyzed enough to not to see beyond the deceptive horizon. Through any mean or in any possible way, the web of deceit can seize our psyche and can blind us to the truth; it is intended to demolish our power of thinking and our ability of understanding. It then constructs wall all-around of us to limit us to the world of nothing but just illusions.

Awareness, knowledge and wisdom are the tools which can enlighten our psyche to keep us out of the web of deceit by strengthening our power of thinking and by raising our ability of understanding the things, it indeed open our minds and raise our consciousness. It is awareness, knowledge and wisdom which can keep the illusions at bay.  With an open mind, we should load ourselves with as much of awareness, knowledge and wisdom as we can because we reflect what there is inside us. An enlighten mind reflects enlightenment whereas a mind ingrained with illusive ideology reflects the same, the illusions. So we should reflect the same energy which we wish ourselves to be surrounded by and for those who thinks it’s cool to not give a damn to anything, let me tell you something to smash your fallacy, it’s not at all cool to not give a damn to the things which matters, it’s just your illusion.

Brain Computer Interface

The brain-computer interface is one of those technology which can change our world. A brain–computer interface is a direct communication pathway between the brain and an external device. The brain-computer interface is often directed at assisting, augmenting, or repairing human cognitive or sensory-motor functions, and in future, it can help in restoring damaged hearing, sight and movement in humans.

The concept of brain computer interface technology is to place small electrodes on or inside the human brain which can allow humans to interact with computers or control robotic limbs simply by thinking about how to execute those actions. This technology could improve communication and daily life for a person who is paralyzed or has lost the ability to speak from a stroke or neurodegenerative disease. Researchers have demonstrated that when humans use this brain computer interface, the brain behaves much like it does when completing simple motor skills such as kicking a ball, typing or waving a hand. That means this technology can make controlling a robotic arm or a prosthetic limb as easy as if it is your actual arm.

Several types of brain-computer interfaces are being developed and tested. The least invasive is a device placed on a person’s head that can detect weak electrical signatures of brain activity. Some basic commercial gaming products are on the market, letting people play easy games or move a mouse around a screen but this technology isn’t very reliable yet because signals from eye blinking and other muscle movements interfere too much.

It is possible that in the coming decades, we might interact with our smart devices and computers simply by using our minds; we could be operating a some smart device just by thinking about it, or could be turning lights on and off just by thinking about it, or sending an e-mail from our smart phone without even typing anything by hands. The scope of this technology is very wide and it could revolutionize everything from robotic implants and neural prosthetics, to remote controls but for now it still in its first phase.
