THE DOOR IS ALWAYS OPEN

Broader than space, and deeper and clearer than the ocean, the round sun in our hearts rises high to shed its light on the universe. The noble world spreads out before us: a castle of glittering gold appears, and the earth is covered with white jade. Mystically beautiful flowers bloom, and the precious birds and beasts dance in joy.

All worlds are adorned with peace and freedom. There is no suffering, and these worlds are filled with happiness. Paradise and heaven lose their sparkle, and the Buddha is left speechless by such a sight.

Both including and transcending time and space, everyone is eternal and everything is infinite and equal. Yet it is difficult to describe this mysterious world: steep cliffs flee as a red column of fire shoots up from blue waves, and the wooden roadside totems sing joyfully. What a marvelous sight! Such terms as “saints” and “devils” are insignificant in this world: Confucius and Tao-ch’il clasp hands as they bless the age of peace and prosperity.

These are not wild fantasies, but the true reality of the oneness of everything. To those of you who close your eyes only to bemoan the fact that it’s dark, please listen:

The door to the Great Light is always open. In this world overflowing with peace, there are no dualities, there are no conflicts. So let’s raise our eyes, look at this world, and praise it all together!

Peace and Love

Expand The Horizon

We are merely temporary residents on the planet Earth. We are all just visitors to this place, to this time, to this planet. We are just experiencing this whole universe and the world individually as well as collectively. We are experiencing our surroundings and all other things through our senses, through our mind, and through any other mean like something which could be a human creation too. We are nothing more than a speck of dust in the universe, even the planet on which we live and thrive is nothing more than a speck of dust in the universe. We are all just a result of billions of billion years of evolution. Our evolution and as well as our capability to create things which we want, desire and need is the reason why our world keeps on changing with time, the time which indeed is a concept. We are all…

Under The Benighted Sky

Expand The Horizon

Under the benighted sky, I used to feel my thoughts blending making roar,

All thoughts within my mind had waged mutual consistent war

Mystify to identify what was delusion and what was real,

Causes of delusions were unclear

Steadily time kept on changing with seasons unending,

My world was spinning empty days and nothing were there to be claimed

Then I dived into an ocean of hopefulness between perplex waves to find out my aim,

Here I stand up holding an hourglass of eternity that trickles sand endlessly,

Becoming more self-conscious, letting myself to be with more stable emotions,

Chasing dreams, my ambitions go far beyond the horizons,

Now a vision dropped in, standing on the sands of time but destination still to be claimed,

As the sun vanishes and the moon gear up to take on the skies,

With a gaze to the calm eternal sky with twinkling stars…

Food for Thought #8

Expand The Horizon

When we are so hooked up in our beliefs, our ways of thinking, and our habits, we can’t seem to see or do anything outside of our comfort zone. When our views and habits are so rigid, inflexible, and hard to break, it seems like changing of anything is impossible or impractical, and having a better society or anything other would seem impractical too.

But here the question is – how to see beyond this line of impracticality?

Letting ourselves to figure out delusion and reality would be good but then we are so deeply conditioned by our environment, which consists of culture, education, belief systems and societal constructs ranging from gender ideas to assumptions on human nature. Our entire economic doctrines are built under the assumption that humans are inherently selfish or greedy. So how are we to make sense of what is real, what is practical, what is…

Force in Equilibrium

Expand The Horizon

The more I look at the deceptive side of this world,

The more whirling chaos rise up inside my mind led by unrest,

Listening several incoherent gloomy whispering voices all at once,

It crumbles my peace of mind with all its full thrust,

All these voices wrap around my mind and seep deep into my soul,

Standing on the edge of serenity in the corridor full of echoes I feel lost,

Segregating from the deeply deceived lost world and all its colors,

I try to escape my soul from the fractured thoughts and all its horrors,

Everything falls normal as when I look at the unexaggerated side,

And unhitch myself from being a part of the delusion or facade,

I find it better to be in solitude and now a lone walk brings up more tranquility,

From here now it doesn’t even matter whether the path is clear or misty,

Mental Journey

Expand The Horizon

We all go through a continuous mental journey in our whole lifetime, and as a result of this, we are all at different levels of consciousness, awareness and development at different times. Sometimes, we come across people who may not be able to comprehend what we are saying as they might be at different levels than ours or this can be other way around but that doesn’t mean what we have said can never be heard by those at different levels. You know, sometimes someone just need a little push or a hint, and who knows that can be you. You may think and perceive things in an entirely different way than the way I think and perceive things, and at this moment when you’re reading this you might or might not agree with the words I’m writing here. I would say that is all okay, we all go through…

Let’s Spread Positivity

One of the ways to spread positivity in the world is, letting people realize that in today’s world half of the chaos is created by Media, not all you see on social networking sites and watch on TV is true.

Keep it Real

Let me tell you something. Never let yourself down just because someone failed to understand you, never forget that you are important, never hide who you are and how you feel. Always stand up for what you believe in your heart and the good you do, that matters. People can’t do something themselves, they tell you that you’re a loser or that you need to get a life but it’s them that can’t do much good, if they were really living truly, they wouldn’t be saying those things for sure. Never regret the past. There’s a reason for everything. Every moment, every moment of pain, every terrible thing that has happened to you, grow from it but most importantly, stay real and human. Do your thing and never apologize for being you but also never hesitate to apologize if you think you should. It takes courage and pure heart to be yourself in a world where people are just too scared to be themselves. Be free, do what you feel in your heart. Keep it real.

Near Zoji La (Kashmir) – Snapshot from my Travels #Part 1

Recently, I’ve been to this beautiful part of the world known as Kashmir and Ladakh, with this and few  more upcoming posts I’ll be sharing some snapshots from my travels to this beautiful part of the earth. So here, with this post, I start with Zoji La Pass(below pictures are clicked near Zoji La Pass),  it is located on the Indian National Highway 1D between Srinagar and Leh in the western section of the Himalayan mountain range.  It runs at an elevation of approximately 3,528 metres, and offers some spectacular breathtaking views.

Sharing snapshots from my travels to this amazingly beautiful place, the images are captured somewhere in between Sonamarg and Zoji La:

Chapters in Our Lives

We all have good and bad days so give people more time to learn more about the rest of someone you do not know about. Everyone behaves different in different situations and it takes time to see how people handle things they have to deal with over their life. Everyone will have their turn to deal with having loved ones pass, jobs changing , loss of health, ups and downs, and all different sort of things, because we are always in a state of change. We never know where people are at in their life journey, so always be respectful to not add to their pain they are in at this time in their life.

We have many chapters in our lives and each person in this world have a view, if you only hearing one side of it then that’s a problem, respecting who you communicate with is half the understanding. Sometime people remember us the way we were with them and we remember them the way they were with us, and sometimes we simply don’t know what the chapter was and that’s why we or they can’t understand. Some will have opened your book at the beginning and read through to the end, others pick up your book when the pages are well thumbed.
