AWAKENING

What is awakening? In simple words, awakening is wakefulness or the state of being conscious. Awakening is a process in the humankind which is going on since we ever existed on this planet. There always been a process of awakening in the humankind and always will be. It’s a continuous process which can’t be stopped at any time or by any way. And moreover, I think it’s a self process, one have to look inside to find out what’s there inside them, who are they from inside. If you’re awaken about yourself and the world around you then ultimately you’re contributing to the process of awakening of others and the world around you. So awakening is a contagious process, it spreads from one person to the other.

At the some point of your life, you discover or feel that much of the way you see yourself and the world around you is just a result of all the instructions, beliefs, messages and opinions that have been deeply ingrained into your mind. And then after realizing this, you begin to shift through all the prisons you have been kept, you begin to break all the walls and start realizing the other side of the world. You begin to shift through all the junk you have been fed about how you should look and how much you should weigh, who to believe and who to reject, what you should wear and where you should shop, where should you go and what you should drive, how and where you should live, what you should do for a living and who you should marry. You learn to open up to new worlds and different points of view, you start to make your own decisions and you make your own paths with your own consciousness. You realize and see a thin line between the right and the wrong, you begin to realize the difference between reality and illusion. You start reading between the lines.

And then comes a stage, when you realize why there are so much suffering in the world and you realize that one of the reason of suffering is getting caught in an illusion. You begin redefining and recreating who you’re and what you really stand for. You realize that you have been on this planet for some reasons and you don’t feel much disappointment as now you know disappointment is a part of life. You begin enjoying this world much more than ever before because now you’re just you, not the reflection of someone else. You come to the realization that you deserve to be treated with love and respect and you won’t settle for less. You start believing in love, respect and freedom for yourself and for others too.  You allow only the hands of a lover who cherishes you to glorify you with its touch and in the process, you internalize the meaning of the self-respect. You start living your life with a purpose and side by side you start enjoying it to the fullest.

I was just thinking…

I was just thinking, what if someday you look back and think why you stopped walking on that path and realizing you could have done it exceptionally good or getting a feeling like you could have been recognized for your courage, for your creation or for your work if you didn’t have stopped doing that particular thing without giving it a deserving fight till the end. I was just thinking about all these things and this led me to write this post.

All I think is that if you’re good in something then don’t keep that thing inside you, take it out and share it. Let the world know that you’ve something, something which belongs to you, something which is your creation or something which is beautiful in all the way. So, if you’re planning to try something or planning to work on something, something which you want to do or which you like to do then try it all the way, from top to the bottom, from starting to the end. Try each bit of that thing, go through the entire thing, look at every corner of it, search for the hidden things in it, go beyond the illusions, scratch the concepts and do it the way you like. If you’re happy with it and if it brings satisfaction to you then it’s really worth to do. There are billions of people on our planet and lots of them are going through the same phase as you’re going through. So, think out of the box and don’t get distracted by obstacles. Sometimes, you may feel like losing your mind but that’s just a phase and it will not last for a long time if you are on a right lane.

Sometimes, getting things done could mean freezing on an unknown land, it could mean wondering in the darkness, it could mean not eating on time for some weeks, it could mean working alone, it could mean disappointments, it could mean mockery, it could mean feeling lost, it could mean thinking against the thinking of majority, it could mean facing odds and evens. So, instead of getting lost in the feeling of disappointments, just think that all these odd things which are coming in your way are a test of your endurance. If you really want to do it, then despite all the rejection in the worst, you will do it and it will be better than anything else you can imagine. It’s not easy to get what we dreamed of, there lies a fight which we have to do. I think if you’re fighting a battle of your dreams with a right side of the force then definitely that battle is worth to fight. Moreover, it’s my conception and I don’t know how much you’ll agree with me in all these things but I believe there lies a fight which has to be won by someone, there lies a struggle which is worth to do if you are on a right track, there lies a mountain which has to be moved by someone to find out the treasure behind it 🙂

The future of electricity transmission

Day by day, technology is advancing very rapidly; there will be many changes in coming decades in the world of technology and one of them will be wireless transmission of electricity. Yes, in the coming few decades electricity will be transmitted without the use of wires.

The first person to actually make wireless transmission of power possible was Nikola Tesla. Tesla demonstrated wireless energy transfer to power electronic devices in 1891, and aspired to intercontinental wireless transmission of industrial power in his unfinished Wardenclyffe Tower project and still wireless transmission of electricity is a field of research. It might be possible that this technology will come into existence in few decades.

Here’s something about this technology:

Primarily, this technology may starts from mid-range transmission methods that could charge or even power portable devices such as cell phones, laptops, PDA and all that kind of devices or possibly all other range of electric and electronic appliances. And for sure, this technology will going to eliminate the need for multiple wall sockets and bulky cables and will greatly reduce clutter in homes and offices. In place of batteries, electronic devices will have antennas to draw power from a single power node mounted in the ceiling or in the wall of a room. Electromagnetic waves are transmitted through the air from the device present in the ceiling or in the wall. These waves are then received by the device like cell phone or other appliance through their receiving antenna. And in this way electricity will be transmitted without using wires. So definitely, there will be new way of transmission of electricity in the coming decades, maybe by the late 2020s.

Random thought

“One of the advantages of reading fiction is that you get to experience someone else’s imaginary world and you paint that world with your own choice of colors.”

Music paints pictures

Music paints pictures.Music, in my opinion is a way to express our feelings, our thoughts, an idea in a beautiful way or a way to paint our imagination with words. Music is a beautiful art, music paints pictures, music can serve many purpose. When you listen to a song, it takes you to a totally different place every time, you live in the moment of that song for awhile. Music is the universal language of emotion, it’s a way for the artist and for its listener to understand something which they might not be able to understand otherwise. But it’s subjective, i mean sometimes a song can mean everything to someone and at the same time the same song could mean nothing to someone else. I believe in the power of music and sometimes, music is the only thing to make sense of things. Listening to deep songs with deep lyrics meaning really can make you think about the our world, memories, people around us and many things. Music is an escape and there’s always a song that describes how you feel, i wish i had my own soundtrack to play for whatever i am doing, like it plays out loud but no one knows where it’s coming from. hahaha!  Music is just a wonderful thing. At last, it’s an entertainment! Yes, music is a leisure activity after all that but that’s really not as important as all the other things about it 😉

So here you go, happy reading!
trekking in india, himachal pradesh.
Trekking to Kheer Ganga, an adventurous journey into the world of nature’s beauty and serenity. This is an amazing experience and it’s just like traveling to a different world. This trekking experience was full of wonder and excitements and for me the journey to this place was like a few seconds in the serene arms of nature. Everything I saw there was just full of serenity and beauty. Kheer ganga is one of the most refreshing treks that one can go on anywhere. The natural hot water spring experience is just amazing and the trek is very pleasant and offers some exhilarating views.

We were 8 friends who have been there together. Trekking starts from a place called Barshaini. Barshaini is a place in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh(India). From Barshaini, one have to do around 12-15 KM of trekking to reach Kheer Ganga. Very few people know about this place and I think only a few have traveled to this part of the world but those who know and have seen it, they call it a magical valley.

It’s really a fun and full of excitement if you go to a some place you don’t know how exactly it will be and then discovering that place and feeling like you’re in a different world, and the only word comes out from your mouth is just “wow”.

It was the first week of February, winter season in northern part of India and Himachal Pradesh is one the coldest part of India with its snowfall and high range mountains. At 11 AM in the morning, we all friends reached Barshaini. It was pretty cold as the temperature might be less than 10 degrees Celsius, and therefore we have to wear jackets and all other things to save ourselves from cold.

Then we all together started moving towards kheer ganga. After trekking for 3 KM from Barshaini, little tired we reached Nakthun. It’s a small village on the way to kheer ganga. This village offers a place for the trekkers where you can get delicious food cheaper than its in nearby places and believe it or not here in Nakthun, there’s even a pool table(made by the local people with woods) thrown out in the open where you’ll find local kids from the village enjoying their time. Travelers can also get a room in the beautiful wooden cottage and a few steps ahead from this village is a Rudra Naag temple and a waterfall.

The feeling at that moment when we reached the Rudra Naag temple and saw the beauty around and the waterfalls was like we are in a different world. At that place, all one could see is just a dense jungle and huge mountains all around. Looking at the nature’s beauty, I realized that we live in a world where we are surrounded by the walls, building and all the other things like road traffic, crowded places etc etc but there is another beautiful world behind those walls and I was experiencing that world in Kheer Ganga. After crossing Nakthun, the real adventure begins, I must say the extreme adventure of my life.

Now after reaching Nakthun, it was almost 2-3 hours trek to Kheer ganga and there are 2 ways to go there, one which is safer but long path and another one is comparatively shorter path but a dangerous one. We took the shorter path, the dangerous one. To be frank, I had no idea how dangerous it would be to choose the shorter path and I think none of my friend knew that too. We were just cheerful and excited to be there.

Dense forest, serenity of nature, snowfall, beautiful hills and mountains.
As we entered the jungle area the view gets more and more beautiful. There was so much peace and natural beauty all around. As we were getting closer to Kheer ganga, the path is getting really difficult to travel, it was very slippery, there were frozen waterfalls on the way, slippery frozen ice was on the narrow paths. Steep slopes on one side and huge rocks on the other, there was hardly the place to walk. At the time we went to Kheer ganga, there was fresh snowfall all the way and so it was very difficult for us to walk there at that time. The slopes on our one side were around thousands of feet down and we know that a single mistake could cost our lives. So we were very cautious while putting our feet on ground.

All the way long flows a waterfall on one side of the path with its full fury and I couldn’t even imagine how cold the water would be in it as it was coming from the glaciers which were not far from that place. The sound of the stream of water was so loud in some places that one could hardly hear each other voices. We needed to cross that waterfall in order to move further. We crossed the waterfall by walking over a wooden bridge formed by the local people. Now, the path gets steeper and more steeper, it was getting harder for us to trek and then we saw a scene, we saw a board on a tree with something written on it that a young person fell from this place and lost his life, and that shows how dangerous is that trek. You need to be careful at every step. On our remaining path, we crossed many small and beautiful waterfalls, some of the waterfall were frozen, there was frozen water on the path and narrow slippery paths having beautiful flowers all around and huge trees covering the sky. Jungle was so dense that sunlight was hardly reaching the ground but in spite of all the danger we couldn’t stop ourselves appreciating the beauty of that place.

Now, Comes the moment, the moment when we stepped in Kheer Ganga. There was a huge ground, it was totally white washed and surrounded by tall mountains covered with white snow, dense white and blue clouds were floating all around us. I rubbed my eyes, I was just full of wonder after watching that place, what a beauty. It was like I want to pinch myself to see whether I was not dreaming. The place was so peaceful , so pure, and all I think is that it’s the amazement of this area,  calmness of this part of the world, the isolation of the habitation, the stunning beauty of the mountains, beautiful wilderness of the pine trees and then snowfall to decorate this place with its whiteness which gives Kheer ganga its charm, its beauty and fills this place with serenity.

Far away we could see small 4-5 hut shaped wooden lodges providing shelter for travelers. We went up to the lodges and took a room in a lodge and I heard that the owner of that lodge is a French woman(I am not sure about that). The Nepali man we met there is living at this place from almost 5 five-years and he is taking care of that place. There is no electricity in Kheer ganga and the lights are all run on solar power.
kheer ganga trekking, amazing and majestic nature.

There are some extra-ordinary things about this place like there is a hot water string at this place. Two of my friends decided to take hot water bath in that hot water spring. The water is hot because of Sulphur in it and it’s amazing to find a natural hot water spring in these kind of places where usually the temperature remains very low. This place is amazingly beautiful and one can easily spend a day or more here because you can get a lodge, food and other essential things at Kheer ganga, or either you can make your on arrangements by taking your own camping stuff.

Kheer Ganga

We stayed there for the whole night, had a very special drink, it was like a black lemon tea. We also had dinner over there provided my a man who stays there. According to my information, I searched some more facts about this place and I came to know that the French lady was living there in Kheer ganga from past 3 years(I am not sure about this information). She left everything from her country and has been living here for no reason, then there’s a Russian man living in the lodge, who was in Kheer ganga from past 2 years and just practicing yoga, a Nepali man who provided us food came from Nepal and was living here from last 5 year and working in Kheer ganga as a guide and provides food and all others things like woods to burn fire, blankets, lodges room, etc to earn his livings. Everything was different and unique about this place that everyone who see this place starts building a bond with Kheer ganga, a bond of peace and love. There is no road connectivity to this place and this is the only reason why the beauty of this place is preserved. We the humans need places like this where nature has not been re-arranged and altered by the hands of humans.
white mist, snowfall, hot water spring, kheer ganga, himachal pradesh, camping and trekking.

Next day, it snowed again in the morning and therefore we had to leave this place because if we didn’t return soon then we could be stuck there because of the heavy snowfall . So we left that place in the morning. And returning back to the Barshaini under that heavy snowfall is something that I couldn’t even explain here, it was extremely difficult for us as the path was already full of snow at the time we were climbing to this place and now after this fresh and heavy snowfall in the morning it was really difficult to see the path even. Now, the path was completely covered with fresh snow. The slopes on our one side were around thousands of feet down and chilled stream of waterfall was flowing in it with its full fury making huge roar, it was like one step wrong and we would be out.

I am sure, if anyone comes to this place once, they would love to come here second time again as you simply can’t get enough of these kind of places. With so many good, beautiful and a few scary memories we said bye-bye to Kheer ganga hoping we could visit it again someday:)

I was just wondering…

I was just wondering how one can live his life to the fullest and this made me to put this blog in front of you all. There are many things which we can do to live our life to the fullest, why settle for anything less if you deserve something better? We all deserve the best! And to get the best out of our life, we all should keep developing ourselves. Try to find pleasure in everything around you, it’s a beautiful world if you know there to look. Love every bit of your life to the fullest whether it is pleasant or not as it belongs to you, somehow you are the man who is responsible for creating all these moment around you! Always relish in the little moments because these little moments make your life complete.  Spending time with your family and friends! Snuggling under warm covers on a  rainy day! Ice cream on a hot day! A kiss with your loved one! A walk by the park! The gentle breeze on your face! Sometimes, getting drenched in the rain! Quiet, alone time! Calling someone after a long time. Feel all these little moments. And if possible, try new things! What’s something you would normally not do? Get out of your comfort zone, try something different. It can be something simple like instantly planing to visit a place with your friends, taking a new route, any surprise to your friends or to your family members, trying a new food item which you have never tried, picking up a new interest or hobby. There are many things; you can try something bigger, like studying a different field, traveling to a place you have never thought to visit, exploring any unknown place. You know, there is a lot to explore, there is a lot to learn and experience.

As Steve Jobs said  ~ “Your time is limited, don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living the result of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinion drown your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition, they somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

Life is too short to do anything else you don’t like. Sometimes, situation doesn’t favor us to do the things we love to do but never give up easily. Try to do the things you love because who knows maybe someday you will get what you want! We all have certain things in our life which gives us fulfillment and happiness, try to spend time on those things. Never stop learning from your surrounding, there is something to learn from everything you see, hear and experience. This includes everything like your mistakes, misconceptions or anything you did wrong in your past, i mean if any! Then learn from all these things and surely it will going to make you better person than you were in past. I think, nobody is perfect and practice can’t make anybody perfect but practice is one of the thing which makes you better and more better. So, never stop practicing to become a better person. There is one more thing which can help you to become a better person and that is criticism. Try to learn from criticism and be open to criticism but don’t be affected by it. Criticism is meant to help you be a better person. There are many things which can contribute to our betterment. And If there’s anything you don’t like about someone, say it to him in the face or otherwise, don’t say it at all. Backbiting is not a nice thing to do. We are human beings and there are lots of things which we face in our day to day life, try to understand and feel another person’s feelings! Try to be empathetic. If everyone only see life from his own perspective, we’ll forever be close-minded and insular. See things from others’ shoes. Be a compassionate person! Show compassion and kindness to everyone around you.

As said by Dalai Lama ~ “Compassion is something really worthwhile. It is not just a religious or spiritual subject, not a matter of ideology. It is not a luxury, it is a necessity. Compassion and love are precious things in life. They are not complicated: they are simple, but difficult to practice.”

I must want to say this that without creativity and art earth would be just dull. Fall into any kind of art. Art can make our life more bearable, art is a way to grow our soul and art can teach you many things about the life. And creativity is one of the important thing which makes us superior than other living beings on our planet. Creativity makes our life different. So, focus on creation! Think about what you can bring to the world, and try to create that! There will be a lot of people you will be going to appreciate your creativity and art. Bring changes in yourself, we live in a world where we have so many things to do, there are so many taboos in our society, there are many things we want to change in the world. As in a simple words, if you want a change then be the change. The only person you can change is yourself! Stop expecting others to behave in a certain way. Rather than demand that others around you change, focus on changing yourself.

Let the people who’ve touched you know of your gratitude towards them, so express gratitude. If you don’t tell them, they’ll  never know; expressing gratitude makes a positive connection. Let loose and have fun! hanging out with your friends or your family! Sing at the top of your lungs! Dance in the rain! Watching movie with your beloved one! Sometimes, breaking your limits! Getting into nature and feel it! Smile more. Are you reading this with a straight face? Smile and have fun. It’s only through being the best we can live our life to the fullest! Love yourself, you are the person who have to live with you for the rest with your life. Treasure and love yourself!  Love others,  be grateful for all the people around you because they help you to grow. They enrich your life experience. At last I want to say, Love life, living a life is fascinating experience; and I believe our life should be composed of these five things: Live, Explore, Learn, Create and Share!
Always Remember: If life is hard, so live it hard and enjoy it to the fullest!
